2024 Recap: A Year of Milestones in Collaboration and Innovation for DTEN

2024 has been an monumental year for DTEN, marked by groundbreaking new innovations, strengthened partnerships and a freshly certified portfolio of room solutions for both Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms. 2024 also marked a new generation of AI-driven workflows and a hint at the next wave of AI enhancements in the meeting room.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella recently shared an impressive insight, highlighting that AI performance is advancing at an extraordinary pace, with its capabilities doubling every six months. This underscores the urgency for businesses to embrace AI-driven solutions in the workplace to stay ahead in an evolving digital landscape.
At DTEN, we’re rapidly developing new technologies optimized for AI in 2025, but for now, let’s dive into some highlights from 2024.
A Strong Start to 2024: From the Bar to the Board, a Complete Portfolio of Solutions for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms
From making a bold presence at premier industry events like ISE, Zoomtopia, and Microsoft Ignite to introducing customer-driven, next-generation products, we’ve continued to shape the future of hybrid collaboration throughout 2024 with seamless setups and a design philosophy that prioritizes the user experience.
We started off the year by showcasing the innovative DTEN Vue Pro Cameras, available first for Zoom Rooms, followed shortly by support for Microsoft Teams Rooms. The professional 4K cameras, uniquely designed to operate 4 additional lenses to capture participants at eye level redefines how we think about in-room engagement for meeting rooms. Check out this short video from the showfloor at Microsoft Ignite to learn more about DTEN Vue Pro.

In the 2nd half of 2024, we revealed the DTEN Bar for Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms, the only video bar system that can be mounted horizontally above or below a screen, or vertically between dual screens for collaborative in-room experiences with dedicated space for shared content and remote participants.

At Zoomtopia and Microsoft Ignite, the spotlight was firmly on AI-enhanced workflows with Zoom’s AI Companion and Microsoft Copilot, respectively. We’re now beginning to see the importance of integrating AI into our day-to-day business strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Laying the Groundwork for a Transformational 2025
We’ve spent the last few months building strong relationships with industry partners like Pexip, Audio-Technica, Shure and others. Soon, DTEN customers will have the ability to connect their DTEN solutions to 3rd party audio systems with dedicated support through DTEN Orbit.
Speaking of DTEN Orbit, keep an eye out for a new service tier to debut in 2025, focused on expanded coverage for enterprise customers with plan options that can be tailored to align with growing business objectives.
The features mentioned above are just a glimpse of what’s possible with DTEN. Contact our DTEN Solutions Team to learn more about our Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Certified devices!
