In this special learning track session, we discussed solutions for engaging students with a better learning experience at home.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Monte Vista Christian School Customer Testimonial\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dB7BbJ7YEJ8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p>In our presentation, we referenced a number of schools that have adopted DTEN solutions to enable teachers to better engage with students in hybrid and virtual learning environments. One example is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mvcs.org\/\">Monte Vista Christian School<\/a>, out of Watsonville, California.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparing the Hybrid Classroom for Fall 2020<\/h2>\n\n<p>Carefully monitoring local and state guidance \u2013 as well as gaining insights from faculty and parents \u2013 Monte Vista Christian is prepared for a variety of potential scenarios this fall.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Monte Vista Christian prepping for fall reopen with help of technology\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MARgmEm_HP0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p>The most likely solution is a &#8220;hybrid&#8221; model for education, where a portion of students attend class from home while others socially distance in classrooms. <\/p>\n\n<p>A key component of their plan: installing <a href=\"https:\/\/dten.com\/d7\">DTEN D7<\/a>s in every classroom, utilizing Zoom, for a near seamless video conference connection. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>&#8220;It was almost magical to have the whole classroom together again, something we haven\u2019t seen in months<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"180\" height=\"218\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dten.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/StevenKiebus_MVCS.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14316\"\/><figcaption>Steven Kiebus, MVCS<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n<p>Testing the technology this summer has been extremely successful. The school&#8217;s IT Director, Steven Kiebus, affirms, &#8220;DTEN really brings the whole classroom together, both kids physically in the classroom and those on the screen. It was almost magical to have the whole classroom together again, something we haven\u2019t seen in months.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choosing the Right Solution<\/h2>\n\n<p>Before selecting DTEN for their hardware, the school completed due diligence.
